I am looking for a tent I could put up by myself. I am only 5ft 2in tall and not large. I have been wanting to find a tent myself and my son could use for Amtgard and when we start sca. Do you have suggestions for which style would be easiest to assemble single person? Thanks

    Hi Jadea,

Both the Round pavilion and conical tents are very easy to set-up by yourself. A wedge tent is nice to have a second person, but can certainly be done single-handed as well (as long as you don’t go too big with it).

A round pavilion is fantastic if you plan on using a bed. If you will be sleeping on mats or an air mattress on the ground then either of the others will do nicely. There will be a small amount of stand up room in any of the tents (nice for getting dressed), but the pavilion has lots of stand up room. (My wife and I usually have a small table and a couple of chairs in addition to our queen sized bed in our round pavilion)

Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Do you make regent style tents? If so, what is your price range?
